A primary school in Lichfield have asked us to recruit for an qualified Teaching Assistant with experience working on a 1:1 basis with children with SEND. The position is to start September for 1 term initially.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate good behaviour management have a resilient attitude and ability to adapt to ever changing situations. The child you will be working with is within KS1 working at a academic level lower than the national average. As well as working within the class setting, you will be required to take the child out of class to complete reading sessions, maths and literacy. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a really rewarding role, and wanting to progress in their career gaining experience within SEND. You will not be required to do any personal care.
Pay is dependent on experience: £65-£80 per day.
Please note that to be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ Level 2 qualification or above (in a relevant subject) or have at least 3 months referenceable experience within the last 5 years. You must be available full time. Due to the location of the school your own transport will be essential.
