Are you a passionate individual with experience working with individuals who have Special Educational Needs? Zest Education is recruiting on behalf of a Special Educational Needs school in the South of Leicester for a part-time Teaching Assistant role. This position is available to start as soon as possible for 1 term, with the potential to move to full-time.
**Responsibilities:**
– Work with individuals between the ages of 4-19 with moderate to complex needs
– Monitor challenging behaviours and assist in creating a positive learning environment
– Support students in their growth and development
**Requirements:**
– Experience working with individuals with Special Educational Needs
– Ability to work in a variety of environments
– Passion for helping students flourish and reach their full potential
**Benefits:**
– Competitive daily rate of £75-£90
– Possibility of transitioning to a full-time role
– Accessible location by public or personal transport
– School hours from 8:30-15:30

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
