Site Supervisor

Location: Ladywood, Birmingham

Start: Sept 2026

Hours: 07:15 to 3:15, Mon – Fri

Zest Education are looking for a skilled Site Supervisor to join a well-run and friendly Primary School in Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining buildings and grounds to a consistently high standard, including repairs, decorating and general upkeep.
  • Opening the site, managing alarms and keeping the premises secure.
  • Operating heating systems and building management systems.
  • Coordinating with external contractors to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Supporting room set-ups, furniture and equipment moves as needed.
  • Managing waste and keeping the site clean, tidy and presentable.

What You’ll Need:

  • Previous experience in Maintenance / Caretaking.
  • Proactive: you spot issues and fix them before they become problems.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety.
  • An Enhanced DBS check (or willing to complete one)

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
