Zest Education are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Sutton who are seeking a Teacher of Sociology to join their team. This role can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis, with a start date of January 2026. Feedback from other staff here is excellent, a strong supportive team in place with excellent policies to ensure teachers can focus on teaching.

The role:

  • Teach Sociology across key stages (including A Level)

  • Full-time or part-time considered

  • Start date: January 2026

  • Salary: M1–M6 Outer London (negotiable depending on experience) – £37,869.52 – £50,474

Requirements:

  • QTS and relevant teaching experience in Sociology

  • Ability to inspire and motivate students

  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills

  • UK right to work (no sponsorship available)
