Are you a skilled sports instructor seeking employment in Stoke and nearby areas? Zest Education is currently seeking experienced sports coaches to join our team in September 2024. Are you a recent graduate (between 2022-2024) looking for opportunities in schools?
Over the past academic year, there has been a growing demand within our school network for adept individuals eager to enhance their experience in an educational environment by leading groups of students aged 11 to 18 as cover supervisors.
The ideal candidate should possess prior experience in managing and guiding groups of children and young individuals in various settings. Cover supervisors come from diverse backgrounds, including:
– Youth workers
– Sports coaches
– Scout leaders
– Play group leaders
The position of a sports coach cover supervisor holds significant importance in schools. Your responsibilities will include overseeing both KS3 and KS4 P.E lessons, carrying out pre-planned activities when teaching staff are temporarily absent. In a physical education context, this entails upholding health and safety regulations while ensuring students enjoy engaging in physical exercises during lessons.

Remuneration is commensurate with experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum requirements for this role include Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience teaching the British Curriculum.
