Supply Teacher – Burton on Trent

Job Description

Zest Education are looking to recruit hard-working, enthusiastic, confident and flexible teachers who are keen to work and who are wanting to explore a variety of schools within their local areas.

These positions offer paid, flexible work in schools which is ideal if you are looking for a good work life balance. Supply work offers part-time, full-time, day to day and long-term roles.

We are working closely with several secondary schools in and around South Birmingham. We work exclusively with schools in Burton on Trent and across Staffordshire.

What qualifications do I need?

The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).

Pay and remuneration:

  • A daily supply Teacher can expect to be paid between £130-160 per day dependent on experience. You would not be expected to plan or mark work.
  • Usual working hours will be between 8:30am – 3:30pm.

Zest Education are an APSCo audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
