Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Are you a passionate, adaptable, and resilient Supply Teacher looking to make a real difference in young people’s lives?
We are recruiting dedicated teachers to work in Alternative Provision (AP) Schools across North Walsall and nearby areas. These settings support pupils who may have social, emotional, or behavioural challenges and need a nurturing, structured learning environment.
You’ll be working in small classes with excellent support from skilled teaching assistants and pastoral teams, helping every student to reach their potential.
Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to meet a range of learning needs.
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
Manage behaviour calmly and effectively, promoting mutual respect.
Work closely with support staff, SENCOs, and school leaders.
Provide feedback and maintain accurate pupil records.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent.
Experience working in mainstream or alternative provision settings.
A positive, patient, and resilient attitude.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).

Zest Education are an APSCo audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
