Are you passionate about helping children succeed in their educational journey? A busy primary school in Wednesfield is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their exceptional team on a part time, long-term basis. The role is to start as soon as possible.
At this two-form entry school, you will play a key role in supporting students to achieve their full potential. The successful TA will need to be someone who can provide support to pupils on a 1-1 basis and in small groups. High expectations for both academic achievement and behaviour are the norm within the school. You will be required to work closely with teacher and other support staff to provide individualized support to pupils, enabling them to reach their full potential.
To be considered for this role you must:
– Have experience working with children within a school or nursery setting
– Be comfortable working across KS1 and lower KS2.
– Have a calming and patient nature.
– Be able to work as part of a successful team.
The pay for this role will start from £80 a day, depending on references and experience.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
