Zest Education are currently looking for a Teacher of English, to teach across KS3 – KS4, in a large secondary school, in Aston. The role will start in September 2023, this be full time and will be a maternity cover position (this will be for a minimum of one term, with the high potential to be extended). Successful candidates will have:
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
- A strong passion for the subject of English and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
- A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
- The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).
- Strong classroom and behaviour management
Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.
Rates of pay will vary dependant on experience.
