Zest Education are seeking a full-time Teacher of Maths to join an outstanding secondary school in the Stourbridge area. This position requires a highly skilled and dedicated individual who is committed to maintaining a high standard of education. This role is due to commence in April 2024 and will run until the end of the academic year.

Key responsibilities:

– Delivering engaging and innovative Maths lessons to secondary school students
– Planning and preparing lesson materials according to the curriculum
– Assessing student progress and providing feedback
– Maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment
– Collaborating with colleagues to ensure consistency in teaching approaches
– Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills

Requirements:

– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant degree in Maths or related field
– Proven experience teaching Maths at the secondary school level
– Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the Maths curriculum
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve high academic results
– Commitment to continuous professional development
