Teacher of Media Studies

Job Description

Are you passionate about Media Studies and seeking a new opportunity in the education sector? Zest Education is currently recruiting for a dynamic Teacher of Media Studies to join our team. This position is for a January 2025 start (or earlier if possible). They will be offering a full-time role teaching Media at KS3 and KS4 levels.

Key Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver engaging Media lessons that inspire and motivate students.
– Assess and provide feedback on student work to support their learning and growth.
– Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student participation and success.
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
– Stay up-to-date with current educational trends and best practices in Media education.

Requirements:
– Qualified teacher status with experience teaching Media.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities.
– Commitment to continuous professional development.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
