Zest Education are working alongside a secondary school in the Halesowen area who are looking to recruit an engaging Psychology teacher. This is a full-time role that is due to start in April 2024 and is expected to run for the rest of the academic year.

As a Psychology teacher, you will be required to educate students about various concepts and theories related to Psychology. This will include helping students develop critical thinking skills, conducting experiments and research, and facilitating discussions and debates on psychological topics.

Applicants who have experience in other Social Science subjects (e.g. Sociology and Criminology) are also encouraged to apply.

Successful candidates will have:
  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A strong enthusiasm for the subject of Psychology and the ability to plan and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent knowledge of the KS4 and KS5 curriculum
  • A team ethos and the ability to build strong and professional relationships with both colleagues and pupils
  • Experience in classroom and behaviour management
