Teacher of Science

Job Description

Zest Education are looking for a dedicated Teacher of Science to join a secondary school in the Harborne area. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging science lessons across KS3 and KS4. You will also be required to assess and mark student work. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an excellent school with high standards of teaching. This is a full-time role due to commence in September 2024, and is expected to run for a minimum of two terms.

Requirements:

– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in a Science related subject
– Experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
– Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum
– Ability to plan engaging and effective lessons
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– A passion for education and helping students succeed

The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
