Teaching Assisatant

A welcoming mainstream primary school in Nuneaton is looking for a committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team. The school is seeking someone with strong classroom experience and proven SEND experience, who can support pupils across a range of needs and contribute to a positive, structured learning environment. Candidate Requirements

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Strong classroom experience in a primary setting
• SEND experience is essential
• Confident supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Calm, patient and proactive approach
• Understanding of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

Role Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 and small‑group basis
• Assisting the class teacher with learning activities and preparation
• Helping pupils stay engaged, confident and ready to learn
• Supporting behaviour regulation and emotional wellbeing
• Contributing to a positive, inclusive and well‑organised classroom environment
