We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Erdington. This full-time role will be based in Key Stage 1, supporting pupils’ learning and development within a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Teaching Assistant – KS1
📍 Location: Erdington, Birmingham
🕒 Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (Full-time)
📅 Start Date: ASAP
🏫 School: Primary School (KS1, includes pupils with EAL)
Supporting teaching and learning in KS1 classrooms.
Assisting children with English as an Additional Language (EAL) to access the curriculum.
Providing 1:1 or small group support where needed.
Helping to prepare resources and create engaging learning activities.
Promoting positive behaviour and ensuring all pupils feel supported and included.
A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred).
Experience working with KS1 children and/or supporting pupils with EAL.
Strong communication skills, patience, and a positive attitude.
A genuine commitment to helping children achieve their potential.
