Teaching Assistant

A welcoming primary school in Bedworth is looking for a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. As a result, you’ll be supporting pupils across the classroom, helping them stay engaged, confident and ready to learn. In addition, the school requires someone with solid classroom experience, ensuring you can step in confidently and contribute to smooth daily routines. Furthermore, you’ll work closely with the class teacher to deliver small‑group activities, 1:1 support and targeted interventions where needed. Ultimately, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands‑on and is looking for a stable, full‑time role.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils in class, small groups and 1:1
• Assisting with literacy, numeracy and daily routines
• Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Helping deliver targeted interventions
• Working collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff
• Contributing to a warm, inclusive and structured learning environment

What We’re Looking For

• Classroom experience (essential)
• A patient, proactive and supportive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Confidence supporting primary‑aged pupils
• Full‑time availability with an ASAP start
• Interest in working as a TA in Bedworth
