Location: Great Barr, Birmingham
Hours: Part-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

We are currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work within a welcoming primary school in Great Barr, Birmingham. This rewarding part-time role offers the opportunity to make a real difference to pupils’ learning, development, and confidence in the classroom.

Whether you have previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Classroom Assistant, or have worked with children in another setting, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons
• Working with individual pupils and small groups
• Assisting children with their learning and development
• Encouraging positive behaviour and classroom participation
• Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required

Requirements

• Experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare, or youth setting is desirable
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
