Teaching Assistant

This welcoming primary school in Leamington Spa now seeks a committed Teaching Assistant for a full‑time role. To begin with, you bring strong classroom experience and feel confident supporting pupils through calm, structured routines that help them feel settled and ready to learn. As the day develops, you guide small groups, reinforce key skills and maintain clear expectations that support confidence and independence. Additionally, you work closely with teachers and support staff to deliver consistent, high‑quality provision across the school. Ideally, you hold a TA qualification and can drive, though neither is essential for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

• General classroom support that strengthens engagement and learning
• Small‑group activities that build confidence and reinforce key skills
• 1:1 guidance for pupils needing additional help
• Adapted learning tasks to meet varied needs
• Positive behaviour approaches using calm, consistent communication
• Close teamwork with teachers and support staff

• Strong classroom experience within primary settings
• Ideally qualified: L1/L2/L3 TA
• Warm, calm and organised approach
• Confidence supporting varied needs through structured routines
• Full‑time availability
• Ideally a driver for easy access to Leamington Spa
