Teaching Assistant – Secondary School

Zest Education is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Wolverhampton, who are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and committed to helping young people reach their full potential. As a Teaching Assistant, you will support classroom teachers across a range of subjects, assist students with their learning, and help to create a positive and inclusive environment for all pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting students in and out of the classroom, individually and in small groups
Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
Helping to manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning atmosphere
Working with pupils with additional needs or learning difficulties
Supporting with administrative tasks and classroom preparation as needed
About You:
We are looking for someone who is:
Passionate about education and working with young people
Patient, enthusiastic, and empathetic
Able to work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals
Flexible and adaptable in a school environment
Ideally has prior experience in a similar role (but not essential)
This role is perfect for someone considering a future career in teaching or education, or for an experienced TA looking for a new challenge in a dynamic secondary school setting.
