Zest Education are delighted to be working alongside a number high performing secondary schools in Staffordshire who are seeking to employ passionate Ks3 and KS4 Teaching Assistants to start as soon as possible for the rest of the academic year on a full and part time basis. Teaching Assistants (TA’s) are an integral part of of the teaching staff, especially in secondary schools, the role requires you to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 15:30pm.

We work with a wide range of schools across Staffordshire areas including; Stoke on Trent, Burton on Trent, Lichfield, Stafford, Cannock Telford and Shropshire to name a few.

The school is academically thriving with high standards for the staff that comes through. Students are supported in their learning allowing them to flourish academically and also socially through engaging and interactive lessons.

You will be required the work on a one-to-one basis and within small groups and due to the age range of these students, you must be flexible across all age groups.

All applicants must be NVQ level 2 qualified (or above) in a relevant subject or have a minimum of 3 months experience within the last 5 years. You need to be proactive, energetic, and committed to engaging pupils into wanting to learn, inspiring them to be confident and independent.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: level 3 qualification in child care or relevant subject or at least three months experience working with children that we can reference.

The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
