Teaching Assistant

Job Description

Zest Education are delighted to be working alongside a beautiful little school just outside of Burton who are looking for two enthusiastic classroom assistants to bolster their passionate team of staff. Both roles are to start January 2023 with the school offering highly flexible hours, both part-time and full-time.

With the school being very flexible to the hours and year group in which the successful candidates are willing to operate within, the lovely little school pride them self of offering a creative curriculum that helps build confidence in pupils and break boundaries. With onsite parking and regular public transport routes, therefore making the school easily accessible to both driving and non-driving candidates. Notably no planning, prepping, or marking is included within the job role, and therefore the successful candidates will be required to provide excellent support to the lead teacher in helping to maintain a healthy and passionate learning environment.

The school are wanting:

– An individual who can offer excellent support to the lead teacher.

– Someone who can build a sufficient rapport with both staff and pupils.

– A strong team player who is able to inspire and motivate pupils, working effectively with the teacher.

– Someone who is enthusiastic and motivated to challenge, inspire and motivate the children with the class.

– Strong communications skills to feedback on student progress made throughout the lesson.

Pay is dependent on experience: £75-£85 per day.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Level 2 in childcare or relevant subject with a minimum of 3 months experience we can reference.
