We are proud to be working with a warm and welcoming school on the outskirts of Aston who are looking for a full-time teaching assistant to join their team in February 2024. The role will require the ideal candidate to work from 8:30 through to 15:30, Monday to Friday every week. The role will continue for a minimum of 2 terms with the potential to extend for the right candidate. The role will involve working across KS2.
The lovely four form entry primary school hold high aspirations of all staff and pupils. The 4-11 school look to deliver a first-class education to all pupils along with providing all learners with essential life skills. The school are also part of a popular multi-academy trust and have fantastic staff retention rates due to staff support networks that are in place and the continual professional development opportunities.
To be successful in this role you must be able to work as effectively as part of a team alongside the class teacher and other support staff. You must also work well under pressure and have a good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum. You must also have the ability to adapt to whatever the situation requires.
The pay for this role will start from £75 a day depending on references and experience.
All applicants must be NVQ level 2 qualified (or above) in a relevant subject or have a minimum of 3 months experience within the last 5 years.
