We’re recruiting for several teaching assistant roles in the Bartley Green, Birmingham area to start as soon as possible. The successful candidates will need to be reliable and adaptive individuals who can hit the ground running. You will need to have excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and you will need to be confident in working with children and managing behaviour.
The school is recognised as a good primary with a growing reputation. The school has excellent relations within the local community and caters for a broad range of pupils. The school alsol has a strong focus on inclusion and equality and aims to equip all students with essential life skills.
Both roles will be full time and the assigned classes will be decided uponsuccessful interviews. There is potential for both of the positions to be made permanent for the right candidates.
If you have previous experience working with phonics and ‘Read Write inc’ then this would be advantageous but is not essential.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
