We’re recruiting for a teaching assistant Solihull area to start from February half term to start a long-term position. The role will be working within the EYFS and KS1 classes working with small groups to support additional needs within the classroom.

The school itself is a popular primary school which benefits from excellent facilities across the school and a dedicated team who work hard to maintain a supportive and inspiring environment for all who attend here.

The successful candidate must:

  • Be NVQ Level 2 qualified, or above, in a relevant subject
  • Have a passion for working within education
  • Be willing to work hard and thrive as part of a team
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic
  • Be a proactive and confident individual
  • Have excellent literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The roles will be full time and there is potential for this role to be made permanent for the right candidates from September 2022.  If you have previous experience working with phonics and ‘Read Write inc’ then this would be advantageous but not essential.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
