We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school in Coventry on a permanent basis. This role offers 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 12:30pm.
Requirements:
– NVQ3 Qualification or equivalent
– Previous experience working in a classroom
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team
– A positive and nurturing attitude towards children’s learning and development
Additional requirements:
– Safeguarding training certification
– First aid certification
Duties and Responsibilities:
– Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons
– Support individual students with their learning and development
– Help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
– Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student progress
– Participate in school events and activities as required

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
