Job Description

Zest Education is proud to be working in partnership with a well-regarded primary school in central Stafford to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a Key Stage 2 classroom from September 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a school rated ‘GOOD’ by Ofsted, which is recognised for its strong support system for both staff and pupils. The school prides itself on offering a vibrant and engaging curriculum that promotes creativity and includes regular opportunities for learning beyond the classroom. The atmosphere is welcoming and inclusive, with a team committed to delivering high-quality education in a nurturing environment.

For a minimum of 1 term, with potential to extend for the academic year. 

Part Time, times varying from 08:10 to 15:30.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the classroom teacher and helping pupils reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily classroom activities, offering support to individual students and small groups, and helping to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.

The school is centrally located in Stafford with excellent access to public transport and also benefits from an on-site car park for staff.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.

The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
