The Role ✨

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join the school from January 2026 for the Spring Term, with the possibility of extension.

In this role, you will:

  • Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging lessons and activities.
  • Provide targeted support for pupils in small groups and one‑to‑one sessions.
  • Encourage positive behaviour while maintaining classroom organisation.
  • Create a stimulating environment that promotes learning and progress.
  • Contribute to wider school initiatives and community events.

The Ideal Candidate 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫

We are looking for someone who brings enthusiasm, commitment, and a genuine passion for education. Ideally, you will:

  • Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred).
  • Demonstrate experience working with children in schools or childcare settings.
  • Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Organise tasks efficiently and manage time well.
  • Adapt creatively to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Approach challenges with positivity and resilience.
