Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team in Derby. This role offers full training and includes a variety of responsibilities such as providing 1:1 support, working with small groups, and assisting the classroom teacher.
Key Responsibilities:
– Providing 1:1 support to students
– Facilitating group activities
– Collaborating with teaching staff
– Building positive relationships with pupils
– Supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)
Requirements:
– Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant
– Experience working with SEN students is desirable
– Passion for helping and supporting others
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work well within a team
This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and inclusive environment with the potential for a permanent position starting in September. Public transport options are available for easy access to the school.

The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
