Zest Education are proud to be working in partnership with a well-regarded primary school in Tamworth, who are looking for a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time position starting from Monday 2nd September 2025, supporting in a Year 5/6 classroom.
Full Time | Start Date: 2nd September 2025
Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
You will be working alongside the class teacher to support both the whole class and small intervention groups. Your role will be vital in helping pupils reach their full potential, providing tailored support and encouraging engagement and progress in learning.
Support the class teacher with daily classroom activities
Work with small groups of pupils, delivering targeted interventions
Help manage classroom behaviour and foster a positive learning environment
Provide additional support to pupils who may need it, academically or socially
Collaborate with the wider school team to ensure all pupils are supported effectively
Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant (essential)
Be confident working with upper Key Stage 2 pupils (Year 5/6)
Be a team player with excellent communication skills
Be proactive, adaptable, and committed to making a difference
Be available to work full time from 2nd September 2025, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
