Zest Education is working closely with a number of welcoming and high‑performing secondary schools across Birmingham and the surrounding areas, who are seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to join their teams. Roles are available to start immediately and continue throughout the academic year.

👩‍🏫 The Role – Cover Supervisor

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step in to lead lessons during teacher absence using pre‑prepared work—with no planning or marking required.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering engaging, pre‑set lessons to students aged 11–18
  • Keeping pupils focused, motivated, and on task
  • Managing classroom behaviour calmly and confidently
  • Providing feedback to school staff on lesson progress and behaviour
