Unqualified Teacher – KS2

A supportive and forward‑thinking primary school is seeking an enthusiastic Unqualified Teacher to join their KS2 team. This role is ideal for someone who has strong school‑based experience and is looking to take the next step toward a teaching career. Candidates with a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification are particularly encouraged to apply. You will work closely with the class teacher and senior leadership team to deliver engaging lessons, support pupil progress and contribute to a positive, structured learning environment.

Candidate Requirements

• School experience is essential (KS2 experience preferred)
• Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification is highly desirable
• Confident leading small groups and whole‑class learning
• Strong communication and behaviour‑management skills
• Positive, enthusiastic and proactive approach
• Understanding of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

Role Responsibilities

• Supporting the delivery of lessons across KS2
• Leading small‑group activities and interventions
• Taking responsibility for whole‑class teaching when required
• Helping pupils stay engaged, motivated and confident
• Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff
• Contributing to a positive, inclusive and well‑organised classroom environment
