Zest Education is currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Upper KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team at a primary school in Burton on Trent. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant and inclusive educational environment, supporting the learning and development of upper KS2 students.

Responsibilities:
– Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities tailored to the needs of upper KS2 students.
– Support the educational and social development of students, both inside and outside the classroom.
– Provide one-to-one support to students who require additional assistance.
– Assist with the planning and preparation of teaching materials and resources.
– Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and achievement.

Requirements:
– Possess at least a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
– Previous experience working in a primary school setting, specifically with upper KS2 students, is desirable.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
– Ability to adapt to the needs of individual students and provide differentiated support.
– A genuine passion for education and supporting children’s learning and development.
