We are looking to recruit hard-working, enthusiastic, and confident Year 1 Teachers who are keen to work and who are looking to explore other schools within their local areas.

Zest Education is working in close partnership with a Primary School located near the centre of Burton who are looking to appoint a Year 1 Teacher to start September 2022 on a part time basis. This Year 1 Teacher position is for a minimum of 1 term, 3 days per week with potential to extend for the right candidate.

The school is passionate about providing the best quality of education, care and support for all their pupils and put them at the centre of everything they do. The school genuinely believes in giving every pupil the best possible start in education and require a teacher who has the same beliefs and morals.

As a qualified Year 1 Teacher you need to be driven, hard working and show you can work well within a team but also individually and sharing your ideas and expertise with your team is essential. You must always ensure good behaviour and classroom management as providing continuity to the class and students is a must. You must ensure the classroom is left in an appropriate manner, with all marking complete to the standards of the school’s policy for the following day

Pay is dependent on experience: £130-£192 per day

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
