Are you an experienced Y2 Teacher looking for a new opportunity in the beautiful town of Burton? We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Y2 Teacher to join a reputable primary school.

Key Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons to Year 2 students, following the national curriculum
– Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support when needed
– Create a positive and nurturing learning environment that promotes student wellbeing and academic growth
– Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
– Communicate and build strong relationships with parents and guardians, ensuring regular updates on student progress
– Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events

Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
– Proven experience teaching the Year 2 curriculum, with a strong understanding of assessment and differentiation strategies
– Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
– Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
– Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively plan and deliver engaging lessons
– A passion for education and a commitment to providing the best possible learning experience for students
