Year 1 Class Teacher – Full Time

Zest Education is recruiting on behalf of a busy and thriving two‑form entry primary school in Kings Heath for a Year 1 Class Teacher. This warm and energetic school is known for its strong community spirit, dedicated staff and determination to provide the very best for its pupils. The Role

  • Full‑time Year 1 Class Teacher
  • To start as soon as possible

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a confident and committed teacher who can bring stability, creativity and consistency to a Year 1 classroom.

You will need to be:

  • Experienced – previous KS1 and phonics experience preferred
  • Experienced in working with children with high needs
  • Consistent and reliable, offering strong classroom presence
  • Confident in planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons
  • Able to commit fully to the length of the role and the needs of the class
