Year 1 teacher

To be successful in this role, applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have proven experience teaching within Key Stage 1. Strong classroom management skills, the ability to differentiate lessons to meet individual needs, and a commitment to supporting pupils with SEND are essential. A genuine passion for teaching and the drive to help children reach their full potential will be at the heart of your practice.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging lessons for Year One pupils.
• Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and colleagues to support pupil development.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress.
• Contribute to wider school activities, events, and enrichment opportunities.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Experience supporting children with SEND is highly desirable.
