We are recruiting for a Year 1 teacher for a long-term role in the Marston Green area of Birmingham. This position will be covering the Y1 class for the full summer term, with the potential for this role to be on-going in September 2022.

This is a good rated primary school which has a growing reputation and academic levels rapidly improving across all year groups. The school is ran by a passionate and friendly team who work well together by putting the children at the heart of all that they do. The school caters for a broad range of pupils and put the children at the forefront of all they do.

The successful candidate must be a hard-working and passionate individual who can work both well as part of a team and independently. You will have excellent knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, and you must be able to differentiate your teaching for the needs of each child. You will show a passion for education and have high expectations of yourself and your class.

The school supports training and development for all its staff and is continually looking for strong team players to join their team.  Both newly qualified teachers/early careers teachers (NQT/ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this position.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
