We are working alongside a brilliant school in Yardley who are looking for a year 1 teacher to work 3 days a week starting in January 2024. Initially, the role is for two terms with the potential to extend for the right candidate. You will be required to work 3 days each week of your choosing.

The school is a popular choice in Yardley and has close ties with the local community. The team of dedicated staff at the school work alongside pupils and parents to ensure all children feel safe and happy within an environment that is stimulating and welcoming. The school provides a well-planned curriculum tailored to meet the needs of all pupils.

To be considered for this role you must hold a valid QTS and be able to consistently deliver and plan rich learning opportunities. You must also be able to employ a range of suitable learning and teaching strategies and styles to ensure effective learning for all pupils. You must also be an engaging, reliable, and hard-working individual who has a strong passion for teaching.

The pay for this role will range from £140 to £190 a day dependent on reference and experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
