Zest Education is delighted to be working with a welcoming and community-focused primary school in Bedworth that is seeking an enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis (3 days per week). To be considered for this role, applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 1. You should have a solid understanding of the National Curriculum, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to differentiate learning effectively to meet the needs of all pupils. The ideal candidate will be dedicated, adaptable, and able to foster a positive and engaging classroom environment that supports both academic and emotional development.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 1 curriculum.
  • Assess, track, and record pupil progress effectively.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and uphold its values.
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning, and achievement.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
