Are you passionate about early childhood education? Do you have experience teaching Year 1 students? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join a lovely team in the Burton on Trent area.

As a Year 1 Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of young learners. You will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that cultivates a love for learning. Your role will involve delivering engaging lessons, implementing creative teaching strategies, and assessing student progress.

Key responsibilities:
– Develop and deliver age-appropriate lessons in line with the national curriculum
– Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation
– Use innovative teaching methods to engage and motivate students
– Provide individualized support to cater to the diverse needs of students
– Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate activities, ensuring a cohesive and holistic learning experience
– Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents
– Maintain accurate records of student achievements and attendance
– Communicate with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns

Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Experience teaching in a Year 1 setting
– A strong understanding of the national curriculum for Key Stage 1
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Proven ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual students
– Passion for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
