Zest Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Bournville. This full-time role begins after the October half term and will be an ongoing position within Key Stage 1 (KS1). The successful candidate must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and regular reports
Establish clear expectations for behaviour and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Encourage collaboration, communication, and independent learning among pupils
Liaise effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues to support each child’s development
Provide tailored support and differentiation to meet the needs of all learners
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in a Year 1 or KS1 setting
Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies
Excellent literacy, numeracy, and IT skills
A passion for creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment
Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
A Enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one
