Year 2 Teacher

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Contract: Full-time

Start Date: January 2026

Salary: £130-£170 per day

About the Role

Zest Education is working with a welcoming primary school in Stoke-on-Trent to recruit a dedicated Year 2 Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and support pupils at a crucial stage in their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lessons across the Year 2 curriculum.
  • Support pupils in achieving their academic and personal potential.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Assess and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and child welfare.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2.
  • Demonstrates creativity, enthusiasm, and a nurturing approach.
  • Works well as part of a team and values collaboration.
  • Is committed to ensuring every child thrives.
