We are recruiting for a Year 2 teacher in the Northfield area of Birmingham to start from Easter half term. The position will be a long-term position continuing until the end of the academic year.
This rapidly improving school is a busy and fast paced environment and aims to cater for a broad range of pupils. The school has good connections within the local community and benefits from fantastic indoor and outdoor resources to enhance each child’s journey within education.
The successful candidate must:
- Hold valid QTS
- Be consistent in maintaining positive behaviour for learning
- Have a strong classroom presence to manage behaviour and keep children focused
- Have a flair for teaching and engaging pupils
- Be a strong communicator and team player
- Be reliable, resourceful, and approachable
The school supports training and development for all its staff and is continually looking for strong team players to join their team. Both newly qualified teachers/early careers teachers (NQT/ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this position.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
