Zest Education, an award-winning education agency, is seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join a lovely school in Telford. This part-time position is available from May until the end of the academic year.
Located in Telford, this school is known for its positive and inclusive learning environment. With a strong focus on student well-being and academic excellence, the school provides a supportive and nurturing atmosphere for both staff and students. The dedicated team of educators and staff work collaboratively to ensure that every child receives the best possible education and support to reach their full potential.
Roles and Requirements:
As a Year 2 Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities. You will work closely with students to provide targeted support and assistance, helping them to achieve their learning goals. The successful candidate must have previous experience working in a primary school setting, a passion for working with children, and excellent communication skills. A relevant qualification in education or child development is preferred. They must also have an enhanced DBS that is on the update service or be willing to obtain one

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
