Year 3 Class Teacher (KS2) – Full-Time

Location: Kings Heath, Birmingham
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term (Autumn Term with Potential Extension)
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)

Zest Education is currently recruiting for a passionate and committed Year 3 Class Teacher (Key Stage 2) to join a supportive and forward-thinking primary school in Kings Heath. This is a full-time, long-term teaching opportunity for the Autumn term starting. The role starts in September 2026, with the potential for a longer-term or permanent role for the right candidate.

This position is open to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs), who will benefit from strong support and guidance, as well as experienced teachers looking for a new opportunity or longer-term career progression.


About the Role

  • Full class responsibility for a Year 3 (KS2) class
  • Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum
  • Complete all aspects of the teaching role, including planning, marking, assessments, parents’ evenings, and training
  • Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that supports all learners
  • Work closely with a dedicated and supportive staff team

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience in Key Stage 2 (or strong placements for ECTs)
  • A commitment to high-quality teaching and pupil progress
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK
