Zest Education are currently working alongside a friendly and welcoming primary school in Castle Bromwich and are looking for a dedicated year 3 teacher to join their hardworking team. This school aims to provide their students with a safe and nurturing environment and the skills and experiences needed to become lifelong learners. Someone willing to work as part of a team is essential to ensure this is provided to the students. This will be on a full-time basis and will start in March until the end of the academic year.

As a year 3 teacher you will be expected to plan and deliver lessons in line with the current British curriculum whilst making them fun and engaging for the children and catering to any additional needs that any students may have. It is essential that high classroom and behavioural standards are set to ensure children are reaching and achieving their full potential. You will be required to track the progress made by the students, praise this to encourage further progress and report this to the relevant colleagues and parent/careers.

As a successful candidate you will be required to have a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and hold an enhanced DBS which is on the update service or be willing to obtain one.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
