Job Description

A welcoming primary school in Rugby now seeks a confident Year 3 Teacher for a full‑time role. You bring solid classroom experience and hold full QTS, ensuring you deliver clear, structured and engaging lessons every day. Moreover, you create calm routines that help pupils feel settled, focused and ready to learn. As the day progresses, you guide learners through purposeful activities, maintain strong expectations and build positive relationships that strengthen motivation and independence. Furthermore, you adapt tasks when needed, support varied learning needs and promote steady, meaningful progress across the Year 3 curriculum.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Year 3 lessons with clarity, structure and strong subject knowledge
  • Deliver literacy and numeracy sessions that build confidence and secure key skills
  • Use consistent routines to support regulation and reduce anxiety
  • Prepare adapted learning tasks for pupils needing additional guidance
  • Support positive behaviour approaches through calm, direct communication
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, the SENCO and the KS2 team
  • Track pupil progress and adjust teaching to meet individual needs
  • Encourage independence, resilience and steady engagement throughout the school day

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified KS2 Teacher with full QTS
  • Strong classroom experience, ideally within lower KS2
  • Clear communication and a warm, structured teaching style
  • Confidence supporting varied learning needs, including SEND
  • Full‑time availability, Monday to Friday
  • Interest in Rugby‑based teaching roles
