Are you an enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher looking for a part-time teaching job in Selly Oak?

Zest Education is recruiting for a confident and committed KS2 Teacher to join a popular and thriving 2-form entry Catholic primary school in the Selly Oak area.

The position is 3 days per week, working every Wednesday to Friday, teaching a Year 3 class. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher looking for the consistency of their own class whilst maintaining a part-time working pattern.

The Role

As the Year 3 Class Teacher, you will:

• Teach a Year 3 class every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum
• Maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour
• Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching where required
• Work closely with the parallel Year 3 teacher within a 2-form entry structure
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
• Contribute positively to the school’s Catholic ethos and wider community
• Work collaboratively with an experienced and supportive staff team

The Ideal Year 3 Teacher

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching within KS2, ideally Year 3 or Lower KS2
• Be confident delivering engaging and well-structured lessons
• Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Be organised, reliable and adaptable
• Work effectively as part of a wider teaching team
• Be comfortable supporting and contributing to the ethos of a Catholic school
• Be committed to working Wednesday to Friday each week
