Year 3 Teacher

Zest is working with an excellent primary school in the Stechford area who are looking for a Year 3 teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. The role will involve planning, marking and assessment. The role is to start in September 2024 and will continue on a long-term basis.

The school:

• Busy three form entry primary school.
• Recognised as ‘requires improvement’ by Ofsted.
• Provide a well-developed curriculum.
• Proud to be part of a popular multi-academy trust who aim to provide an outstanding education and inspire all pupils.

About the role:

• Full planning, marking and assessment responsibilities.
• Teaching a range of suitable learning and teaching strategies and styles.
• Maintain a positive ethos of the school both inside and outside of the classroom in support of the school’s policies.
• Must have a solid understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
• Half a day PPA time each week.

The candidate:

• Must hold a valid UK QTS
• Be able to engage with a broad range of pupils.
• Have a strong work ethic.
• Act as a positive role model for the children.

The pay for this role will start from £140 a day. Teachers with previously experience and ECT’s are strongly advised to apply for this role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
