Zest Education is proud to be working in partnership with a supportive and forward-thinking primary school in the Loughborough area. We are currently seeking a passionate and committed Year 3 Teacher to join their team in September 2025.
This is a full-time teaching role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Whether you are an experienced KS2 practitioner or a confident ECT with a strong understanding of the curriculum, we welcome your application.
Full responsibility for teaching a Year 3 class, including planning, delivery, and assessment
Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages engagement and academic growth
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and leadership to provide a consistent and nurturing educational experience
Support pupils of varying abilities, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing regular feedback on pupil progress and wellbeing
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably in Year 3
Confident behaviour management and a passion for pupil progress
Ability to adapt lessons to meet a variety of learning needs
A nurturing, positive and enthusiastic approach to teaching
Experience supporting pupils with SEND is highly desirable

Zest Education are an APSCo audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
